A little bit about us

Who is California Avenue Collective?

 Alix Ribeiro-Clausen, Sarah de Kanter, Chloe Lusher and Lesa Clausen 

We started California Ave. Collective in August 2019. It was born out of our love of searching for and finding special treasurers at estate sales, yard sales, the side of the road, and more. After recognizing our problem of overflowing rooms, shops, and storage sheds, we came to the conclusion that we couldn't keep all our finds to ourselves. So we decided to use Instagram to help us set up shop and share our finds.

Aside from selling goods, we also love to feature local homes in video tours that we showcase on our Instagram TV Channel. 

During the Covid-19 crisis, Alix, one of our members, wanted to find a way to support local business even in times where folks couldn't get out and shop, this is where the boxes come into play.
